I wasn't very satisfied with blogger, so i've moved to the blogging community tumblr.

hello, vacation

This week was finals week, aka WEEK OF DEATH!

I didn't have any classes, except for friday, which all three of my finals landed on. I studied on the lawn about every day, cramming as much information into my head as possible until I regurgitated it back onto paper on friday. Pre-Calculus, Spanish and Astronomy finals all on one day definitely drained me! It is almost like sacrificing yourself, right? Thank god it is all over...

Friday night I ran out of my last class- hopping up and down- yelling, "FREEDOMM!"

Now I'm officially on my spring break, seven days of pure joy. No classes, homework, projects, questionably nasty dining hall food, or any other worries that accompany college life.

I'm home, possibly the best place in the world. I've never been so excited to sleep in my own bed! I'm also excited about playing with my new puppy (zoey), shopping for bright spring florals and short shorts, driving around aimlessly with old friends, gorging on hamburgers from my favorite diner, spending a day at disneyland with spectacular midnight fireworks, beach, pool, beach, pool, and sun. It really doesn't get better than that. It's going to be especially great because I'm going to disneyland with my friends this week, then the jacuzzi tomorrow night and the beach for a day.

There are many things I love about college, but by far the best is sunny days like this one.

Everyone from my dorms are laying out on the green lawn in bright colored bathing suits. Headphones are turned up, frisbees are flying around, laptops are open and patterned beach towels are flipping in the breeze. The girls are paying no attention to their textbooks, instead their lips are slipping secrets from the weekend events. The boys are shirtless and in shorts, kicking around a soccer ball. My mouth is drooling just looking at them, their tight stomachs flexing as they kick their legs up. I can't resist the eye candy!

Spring is just around the corner, I can feel it. The sun is getting closer and stronger :)

Here it is, my blog. I've spent about a year thinking about it. I made one once, deleted it a week later. This one, though, is here to stay.
